Position Overview: As a licensed and experienced Paramedic, are you ready to use your skills in a controlled surgical environment, with daytime work hours where you are an extremely valued member of the team? We are seeking a Paramedic to join us a a key “mid-level” provider starting IV’s and assisting during surgeries. Knowing this is a totally new role, we will train you on all the elements of surgery and assisting. You will work closely with our team to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer IV placement for all surgical patients.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and their response to treatment.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for surgical procedures, including securing IV access and administering medications as directed.
- Assist with surgical procedures.
- Assess patients' conditions and administer appropriate medical treatment.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the surgical office.
- Train clinical team on medical emergencies.
- Perform basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS) techniques as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to all relevant medical protocols, guidelines, and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Valid current Paramedic certification/license.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under high-pressure situations.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
