Why You’ll Love Working Here
Summit Family Law is a premium family law firm serving clients across Alabama with a clear mission: deliver exceptional legal representation while leaving people better than we found them. Led by Charlotte Christian, the firm has built a reputation for professionalism, strong internal systems, and a high-performance culture rooted in accountability and client care. This is not a volume-based, discount practice — it is a firm that believes in its value and stands behind its pricing and service standards.
This role sits at the front line of revenue and client experience. As the Closing Sales Attorney, you are the first legal voice prospective clients encounter — the authority, the advisor, and the ambassador of the firm. You will conduct consultations, guide individuals through high-stakes family law decisions, and convert qualified prospects into retained clients while maintaining pricing integrity. The position has measurable expectations, including maintaining a close rate of at least 50% and contributing to a monthly revenue target aligned with the firm's performance. This role allows you to practice law without carrying a litigation caseload or courtroom calendar. You remain a legal authority while avoiding adversarial trial preparation and unpredictable court schedules. This role is structured, metrics-driven, and client-focused.
You will operate within structured systems designed to support consistency and accountability. All intake, scheduling, and follow-up workflows are managed through client management software and Google platforms, with operational oversight from the firm’s leadership team. You will collaborate closely with attorneys and intake staff to advocate for newly retained clients and ensure smooth case transitions. This is an execution-focused role that requires strong internal communication.
Long-term, this position is designed to remain a dedicated, sales-focused attorney role. It offers the opportunity to stay at the forefront of Alabama family law without carrying a litigation caseload or courtroom schedule. For the right attorney, this can provide both professional longevity and meaningful impact within a growing firm that values revenue accountability and client advocacy equally.
Located in Huntsville, Alabama, this opportunity places you in one of the state’s most dynamic and economically strong regions. Huntsville’s professional community includes engineers, military leaders, and high-earning professionals — aligning directly with the firm’s premium client base. The hybrid structure allows flexibility while maintaining in-person presence and professionalism in the office 3+ days per week.
What We Value
- Emotional Intelligence – Our clients are often experiencing the most difficult moments of their lives. We value attorneys who can regulate their own emotions while calmly guiding individuals through anger, grief, or uncertainty. Composure and empathy are not optional here.
- Revenue Accountability – Attorney billing capacity depends on signed retainers. We expect ownership over close rates, revenue production, and performance metrics with personal accountability.
- Client Advocacy – When a client retains the firm, the experience must remain consistent and intentional. We advocate internally for clients and communicate proactively with the legal team to ensure smooth transitions and high standards of care.
- Professional Brand Representation – We are a premium firm and expect conduct that reflects that. That includes maintaining pricing integrity and confidently articulating why Summit Family Law delivers exceptional value.
- Team Mentality – This is a collaborative environment. You will work alongside intake staff and attorneys, contributing to shared success rather than operating in isolation.

Why This Job Stands Out
- You directly influence firm revenue and operational sustainability. Your performance determines the legal team's capacity to serve clients effectively. That level of measurable impact is rare in attorney roles without equity responsibility.
- The firm operates with defined systems and clear expectations. Client management/communication systems, structured intake processes, and leadership oversight create accountability and operational clarity. You are not walking into chaos — you are stepping into an organized environment.
- The client base aligns with a premium positioning strategy. The firm requires substantial retainers and targets high-value cases to protect brand integrity and long-term growth. You are not pressured to discount services to win business.
- Leadership is committed to finding the right personality fit and supporting long-term sustainability rather than forcing short-term production. That intentionality matters.
